WWE Monday Night Raw

The main event of No Mercy, the next PPV, was confirmed, too. It will see Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman for the WWE Universal Championship.WWE superstar John Cena is arguably the WWE network’s biggest star. When the WWE brand split took place last year, it seemed strange that Cena was drafted to SmackDown Live, rather than the premiere Monday Night Raw.

The problem for McMahon was the fall in Raw’s viewing figures, and in the absence of top stars like Cena and Brock Lesnar, SmackDown’s numbers started to suffer too.In some ways, Cena’s draft to SmackDown Live was a smart move by Vince McMahon. Cena’s feud with AJ Styles was a huge boon for SmackDown, and the blue brand’s viewing figures quickly caught up with and sometimes surpassed those of Monday Night Raw.Tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw will take place from the FedExForum in Memphis, TN, and it will feature more build up for the upcoming No Mercy pay-per-view.

At SummerSlam, Sasha Banks shocked the world when she defeated Alexa Bliss to become the new Raw Women’s Champion. However, Sasha’s title reign may come to an end tonight, because she’s set to defend the belt against Alexa Bliss. As of this writing no other matches have been announced for tonight’s show.FREE

The answer seems to be that the WWE believes that, not only can they co-exist, but as a tag team they can form a formidable partnership, one that could prove to be an ideal way to boost Reigns’ popularity. If Cena and Reigns are to form a tag partnership, that would rule out claims that Reigns may be about to re-form The Shield tag team.

There is little doubt that Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman will continue their feud into their already announced title bout at No Mercy. Reigns, having feuded with Strowman for much of 2017, seems to be left without a credible storyline. It makes sense for the WWE to use Cena to boost ReignsWrestling Inc. claims that Vince McMahon is using Cena to boost Reigns, so perhaps tonight’s Monday Night Rawwill reveal the role that Cena is to play in the coming months..

Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor big events

Hi UK Friends Your Welcome Watch Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor big events live stream.Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor is finally here – so here is all the key scheduling and broadcast information for the superfight between the unbeaten boxing legend and the UFC megastar.

The main card begins at 11am AEST, with Mayweather vs McGregor likely to begin around 1.30-2pm, depending on other fights. He has claimed he might face McGregor in an MMA match, which is incredibly unlikely. The only scenario under which ‘Money’ might actually fight again is if he somehow loses to McGregor, which would surely see him seek a rematch.

Mayweather, who has made a comeback after nearly two years in retirement to fight McGregor, insists this will be his last boxing match.McGregor has also claimed he intends to keep competing in boxing, with a future match already set up during the MayMac lead-in: Against Paulie Malignaggi, the former two-weight world champion who is now feuding with McGregor over a controversial sparring session. The UFC headliner will need to emerge from his clash with Mayweather with most of his dignity intact to keep future boxing matches as a viable option.

The matchup, which will take place at the 20,000 seat T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, has the potential to be one of if not the top-grossing combat sport cards in history. Estimates range from a more conservative $300 million all the way up to $1 billion, factoring in domestic and international pay-per-view (PPV) sales, merchandise, and ticket sales. For those wishing to attend in person, the cheapest tickets currently available on StubHub are going for over $1,200.

Evel can make it across the canyon or not,” Taffet said. “But the truth is [McGregor] may make it, and if he does, it will be one of the greatest sporting achievements of all time…I think McGregor will make the kind of effort that will make his fans proud and reward them for watching the event, and as a result there’s a chance that everyone could walk away a winner regardless of the outcome of the fight.”

Sergiy Derevyanchenko vs. Tureano Johnson

Powerful middleweights Sergiy Derevyanchenko (10-0, 8 KOs) and Tureano Johnson (20-1, 14 KOs) will square-off in a middleweight world title eliminator that headlines a special Friday night edition of Premier Boxing Champions TOE-TO-TOE TUESDAYS on FS1 and BOXEO DE CAMPEONES on FOX Deportes on August 25from Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma. WEIGHTS

Derevyanchenko – 159-pounds

Johnson – 159.8-pounds

Centeno – 158.8-pounds

Aleem – 158.8-pounds

The winner of the Johnson vs. Derevyanchenko fight will be the International Boxing Federation mandatory challenger to IBF middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin. However, it remains doubtful that the Johnson-Derevyanchenko will ever get a chance to fight GGG, as he still has a risky fight ahead of him against Saul Canelo Alvarez on September 16. The winner of that fight will likely look to face WBO champion Billy Joe Saunders. Golovkin wants to move up in weigh if he keeps winning.

Both guys are roughly the same level in terms of age. Johnson has looked incredibly good since he turned pro. It’s hard to believe it’s taken him this long to get close to a title shot. The bad news is even if he beats Derevyanchenko on Friday night, he still is looking at 1 year before he gets a title shot unless the IBF orders the Canelo-Golovkin winner to fight him.

Derevyanchenko is kind of slow, but he has heavy hands. He would be really up against it if he were to fight Golovkin. He might give Golovkin some problems if he could handle his punching power, which I doubt. Golovkin could beat Derevyanchenko with his jab alone like he did against David Lemieux.

Friday night’s winner earns a future date with the winner of the Canelo Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin fight, with the WBC and WBA title belts on the line. Johnson and Derevyanchenko are the top two contenders to Golovkin in the IBF rankings.

Sergiy Derevyanchenko vs. Tureano Johnson

“This is the biggest, most meaningful fight we’ve ever had in the area,” Holden said. “One of these two guys right here, if they win their next two fights they won’t have to work another day the rest of their lives. These boys know it, too. They’re going to lay everything on the line.”

Johnson, a 33-year-old who is originally from the Bahamas, could barely contain his enthusiasm when he stepped to the podium.

“I’m so excited,” Johnson said. “This is an awesome opportunity. I’ve been training hard and I’m 100 percent ready. I have the utmost respect for Sergiy, but I’m going to take care of him tomorrow night. Expect an awesome fight tomorrow night. I can’t tell you if it’s going to go a few rounds or the whole way, but I can guarantee you there’s going to be a bomb-dropping explosion that I can’t wait to experience.”

A former Ukrainian Olympian now fighting out of Brooklyn, New York, the 31-year-old Derevyanchenko noted he’s ready for his biggest challenge to date.

“I feel good,” Derevyanchenko said with assistance from a translator. “This fight is important for me. I know Johnson is a good fighter, but I am ready 100 percent.”

In the other televised bouts, Immanuwel Aleem (17-0-1, 10 KOs) meets Hugo Centeno (25-1, 13 KOs) in 10 rounds of middleweight action for the WBC Silver championship, and Austin Dulay (10-0, 7 KOs) takes on Carlos Padilla (16-5-1, 10 KOs) in lightweight action.

UNDERCARD

Charles Conwell and Kenzie Morrison represent the Four State Franchise on Friday night’s card.

A former Olympian, the 19-year-old Conwell (4-0, 4 KOs) takes on 34-year-old Andres Calixto Rey (7-6, 5 KOs) of Mexico in a four-round junior middleweight bout.

“It’s an honor to be on a card of this magnitude,” Conwell said. “I’m just ready to give Miami, Oklahoma, a great show. On paper, I guess it’s a step up for me. I try to grow with each fight.”

A local fan favorite, Morrison (11-0-2, 10 KOs) will tangle with veteran Roberto White (6-8, 6 KOs) of Salisbury, North Carolina, in a six-round heavyweight scrap.

“I don’t know a whole a lot about him, but I know he’s a southpaw and this will be my first time against a southpaw,” Morrison said of his 47-year-old opponent. “I’ve been training hard on the things I need to do to make sure things go my way. I feel good and I’m good to go.”

Morrison added fighting in an outdoor setting will be a new experience.

Still, this prop bet speaks to the fact that many believe McGregor will be way out of his element fighting on Mayweather’s terms, and that the latter might be more inclined to go on the attack than he would against a seasoned boxing professional.

While Mayweather is a solid -400 favorite (bet $400 to win $100), per OddsShark.com, there are plenty of prop bets to keep things interesting for fans. Even Mayweather’s odds of straight-up winning are probably far too low, considering he’s undefeated and McGregor is fighting on a boxer’s terms, and not competing in the mixed martial arts that propelled him to superstardom in the first place.

Still, this prop bet speaks to the fact that many believe McGregor will be way out of his element fighting on Mayweather’s terms, and that the latter might be more inclined to go on the attack than he would against a seasoned boxing professional.

McGregor will be hard pressed to come up with those kinds of numbers. There are many differences, both subtle and overt, in landing punches in a boxing match as compared to an MMA fight. McGregor’s timing, footwork and punch angles will all have to be different from the Octagon if he is to connect with any regularity.

What is the latest news?

Conor McGregor has been driven on through the final stages of the training camp for his August 26 fight with Floyd Mayweather by the increasing ridicule he is receiving.

The 29-year-old fights for the first time as a professional boxer at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena against the undefeated Mayweather, one of the sport’s all-time greats.

McGregor built his reputation as one of the leading figures in the UFC, but few within the boxing community give him any chance of even testing an opponent who is 40 and has been inactive for almost two years.

Most recently America’s Terence Crawford, among the world’s finest fighters, and David Haye have released videos on social media mocking the warm-up technique with which McGregor demonstrates unusually loose and flexible arms.

McGregor manoeuvred his way into such a lucrative fight partly through his clever use of social media, but after insisting he found the videos “light-hearted”, he became defensive and revealed how those doubting him have spurred him on.

“It’s certainly motivating,” the Irishman said. “The disrespect of my skill-set: I look at people and their minds are closed. ‘It’s a set way and there’s no other way’.

“If that was the case we’d never have reached across the waters and searched for other land, and never have gone into space.

“When I hear their disrespect, I use it as motivation and I look forward to going in and educating them. I get it. I’m coming in (to the sport), I understand where it’s at, I’m just looking forward to proving what I’m saying and earning my respect in this game also.
